*Harriett's tombstone gives only 1845 for her date of birth. Although the 1900 census gives her birth month/year as FEB 1845, the 1850-1880 census records are consistent that she was born in 1846.

**Wesley's surname is misspelled PATTEN and Harriet's is misspelled TANLON in online marriage records. Wesley also had two children by his first wife, Courtney BAGGETT, whom he married in Crenshaw Co., AL on 22 SEP 1870.
