Harry J. Whittington
Harry Jordan Whittington, 48, of Liberty, died Nov. 29, 2004, in Lincoln County from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Services were 11 a.m. today at Catchings Funeral Home in McComb. Dr. David Millican officiated. Burial was in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mr. Whittington was born Dec. 1, 1955, in Magnolia to Jordan Ray ``Dud'' Whittington and Claudia Dell Westbrook Whittington.
He was a truck driver and a U.S. Army veteran.
Mr. Whittington was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Ray Whittington; and a sister, Sue Whittington.
Survivors include a son, Brent Jordan Whittington of McComb; his wife, Debbie Seale of McComb; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Robert L. and Helen Whittington of McComb and Perry Ray Whittington of Houston, Texas; five nieces and their husbands, Caroline and Christopher Saylor of Ladlow, Vt., Katie and George Cunningham of Florida, Samantha Whittington of Houston, Michele Decker of Gloster and Miranda and Ronald Stokes Jr. of Liberty; three nephews and their wives, John Thomas Massey and Darlene of Liberty, and Tony and Debbie Ginn and Derrick Whittington, all of McComb; six grand-nieces, Sonya Cunningham of Florida, Ashley Ginn and Cynthia Ginn, both of McComb, Narelle Saylor of Ludlow, Vt., and Melinda Dawn Massey and Ashley Lynn Massey, both of Baton Rouge; and six grand-nephews, Seth Massey, John Thomas Massey Jr. and Ronald Stokes III , all of Liberty, Joshua Ginn of McComb, Blaine Cunningham of Florida and Jordan Decker of Gloster.
Pallbearers were John Massey, Perry Whittington, Duke Etheridge, Chris Thompson, Casey Thompson and Johnny Sullivan.
