HARRY A. MCCREARY

A graveside service took place for Harry A. McCreary, who died Aug. 3, 1996, in Las Cruces, N.M., of a heart attack at age 71.

Mr. McCreary was born March 2, 1925, in Portland. He graduated from Gresham High School. In 1945, he married Ann Durham. He served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force and retired as a lieutenant colonel. He then entered private business and retired in 1991.

Survivors include his wife; sons, James of Milpitas, Calif., Mike of San Jose, Calif., and Dan and Casey, both of Austin, Texas; brothers, Harold of Kellogg, Idaho, and Herbert of Tygh Valley; sisters, Lyda Kerslake of Corbett, Mary A. Kehrli of Troutdale, Jean Thomas of Portland and Judy McCreary of Indianapolis; and four grandchildren.
