Harry “Pack” Dickson
SHREVEPORT - Services for Mr. Harry “Pack” Dickson, 73, of Shreveport, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday September 21, at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. The Rev. Alvin Oney, pastor of Linwood Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be at Forest Park Cemetery.
Mr. Dickson died Friday September 18, 1987, at LSU Medical Center after a short illness. He was born in Coushatta, La. Mr. Dickson had been a resident of Shreveport for 40 years and was retired as a carpenter. He was a member of Morningside Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Kathleen Dickson of Shreveport; one son, Paxton Dickson, Jr. of Hobbs, N.M.; a step-son, Glenn Robbins of Torrance, Calif.; a step-daughter, Linda Crocker of Coushatta, La.; three sisters, Melvia Dickson of Coushatta, Laura Alice Shaw of Jamestown, La. and Ethel Lofton of Coushatta; one brother, Wary Dickson of Coushatta; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
