HARRY SUDDITH SR.
Harry Suddith, 77, Sandersville, died Wednesday in Jones County Community Hospital after an extended illness.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday from the Sandersville Baptist Church with burial in Sandersville Cemetery. The Revs. Bruce Jolly and John Magee will officiate.
Suddith was a member of the Sandersville Baptist Church, Order of Eastern Star, Brekenridge Lodge Sandersville, York Rite Bodies, Laurel, Hamasa Shrine Temple, Meridian. Suddith was also a Mason and a retired millwright and carpenter.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Amy McDaniel Suddith, Sandersville; two sons, Harry I. Suddith Jr., Sandersville, John T. Suddith, Pineville, La.; one daughter, Mrs. J. W. (Amy) Hickson Jr., Su[l]phur, La.; three brothers, Ermand G. Suddith, Laurel, Bradley Suddith, Gulfport, Edwin W. Suddith, St. Petersburg, Fla.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Hill, Larry Griffin, Jerry Robinson, Marshall Parker, Jack Patrick, Jerry Hutchison and Mike Gibson.
Members of Brekenridge Mason Mason Lodge 309 will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Memory Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
