H. W. Johns[t]on

Funeral services were at 3 p.m. today for Harvey W. Johns[t]on, 65, of 508 Harper St., West Monroe, at Sharon Baptist Church of Sikes with the Rev. James Thorn officiating.

Burial was in the Sharon Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe.

Mr. Johns[t]on died at his residence Tuesday after a short illness.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. H. W. Johnston, three daughters, Mrs. Charlene Beonoit [sic Benoit], Mrs. Loraine Guice, both of New Orleans, and Mrs. Margie Wilson of Monroe; five sons, Harvey Johnston, Albert Johnston, Buddy Johnston, all of Monroe, Jack Johnston of Clayton, and Charles Johnston of Winnsboro; one sister, Mrs. Annie Mae Thibodeaux of Merrero.

Pallbearers were John W. Lee, Woodie Lee, Alvis Lee, Gene Johnston, Paul Lewis and Johnnie Thibodeaux.
