BODY OF WOMAN FOUND IN WELL

Death of Mrs. R. A. Gilliam, Giles County, Discovered by Husband; Rites Today

PULASKI, Tenn., Nov. 12 --(Spl.)-- The body of Mrs. R. A. Gilliam, 49, was found by her husband in a well at their home a mile north of here this morning.

Mrs. Gilliam had been in ill health for some time.

The husband discovered the tragedy when he returned to the house after milking his cows. He summoned neighbors, who helped him remove the body.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at the Bennett-May funeral home here.

In addition to the husband, Mrs. Gilliam is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Leah [sic Lera] Ruth Garner of West Helena, Ark.; a son, Horace Gilliam of Pulaski; a sister, Mrs. Turner Curry of Bethel; and a brother, W. B. Bell of Birmingham, Ala.
