Ms. Hattie was called home, received her wings and entered into eternal rest Sunday, December 14, 2014 at 9:24 am at Grace Nursing Home in Slaughter, LA. She will be dearly missed by many friends and family, forever loved and always
in our hearts.
She is survived by 1 sister, Claudia Whittington Jackson.
Ms. Hattie was preceded in death by, her husband, Bill Woodward.
Visiting at Brown Funeral Home, Gloster, MS.
[Sa]turday, December 20, 2014, 9:00 AM until Funeral Services at 11:00 AM at Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Interment following at Roseland Cemetery in Gloster.
She was 80 years old. Her name at the nursing home was, “Red Hot Mama.”
Her favorite color was red and she was a firecracker.
She was a native of Amite County, MS. and a resident of Jackson, LA.
5 Grandchildren, Angie Sullivan, Lacey Sullivan Jones, Belinda Kay Travis,
Melissa Travis and Joshua Travis.
1 Daughter-In-Law, Joy Deshotel Sullivan.
1 Niece, Alice Bennett.
1 Son, Robert Lee “Levi, Bobby” Sullivan.
Mother, Dorothy Mae Whittington , Father, Claude Whittington.
2 Sisters, Mamie “Dixie” Whittington Hargon and Barbara Lee King.
