Hattie Mae Taylor Sanson
Funeral service for Hattie Mae Taylor Sanson will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, 2003, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville, with the Rev. Charles Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Pineville.
Mrs. Sanson, 81, of Lufkin, formerly of Tioga, died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003, at Memorial Hospital in Lufkin, Texas.
Mrs. Sanson was a retired nurse with Pinecrest Developmental Center with more than 20 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, James L. Taylor; her second husband, Jesse Sanson; her son, James Roy Taylor; and her parents, Bill and Myra Beavers Lofton.
Survivors include her son, Charles Dale Taylor and wife Brenda of Lufkin, Texas; her brothers, Calvin Lofton of Lufkin, Texas, Alvin Lofton and Tom Lofton, both of Houston, Texas; her sisters, Nell Roy Cotton of Dry Prong and Martha Clements of Dallas, Texas; five grandchildren, Teresa Alexander of Tioga, Chuck Taylor and George Taylor, both of Dry Prong, Clara Faye Nichols of Prospect and Ricky Randall of Baton Rouge; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Johnnie Qualls, Brent Fontenot, Curtis Risner, Josh Taylor, George Taylor and Coby Taylor.
Friends may call today from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and from 8 a.m. until time of service Saturday at Hixson Brothers, Pineville.
