HATTIE T. BROGAN
Hattie Thompson Brogan, 90, 1839 Lindsey Ave., died Friday, Oct. 13, 1989, at South Central Regional Medical Center.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Memory Chapel, with burial in Hickory Grove Cemetery. The Rev. Tom F. Rayburn will officiate.
She was a homemaker and a member of Second Avenue Baptist Church. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and a former member of the DMA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Brogan, a former Laurel police officer and sheriff of Jones County.
She is survived by two sons, Billy D. Brogan of Meridian and Charles T. Brogan of Laurel; four daughters, Dorothy Bradford, Barbara Holifield and Mary Parker, all of Laurel, and Norma Johnston of Jackson; 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Grandsons and Robert L. Brown will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today at Memory Chapel, which is in charge of arrangements.
