Haynie Robertson, age 87, of Camden, AR passed away Wednesday, May 04, 2011. He was born January 05, 1924 in Texarkana, TX to Jesse and Katie Haynie Robertson. He was a graduate of Troy School.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jewel Knight Robertson and wife, Carolyn Childers Robertson; brother, James Dilburn; and sister, Glyn D. Merritt.
He is survived by his son, Mark Childers of Houston, TX; daughters, Kathy Starr and husband, Jimmy of Camden, AR, Norma O'Neal of Camden, AR and Becky Thrift and husband, Michael of Alma, AR; nieces, Shirley Matthews of Hideaway, TX and Glenda Jones and husband, Clerry of Camden, AR; nephew, Willard Robertson and wife, Margaret of Pocola, OK; nine granchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Friday at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Reverend Don Phillips and Reverend David Dillard will officiate the service. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
