SHREVEPORT - Services for Mrs. Hazel Buce Goodwin, 81, of Shreveport, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday May 5 in the Broadmoore Baptist Church Chapel. Dr. John Sullivan, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be at Forest Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Goodwin, a housewife and resident of Shreveport for 30 years, died Monday May 2, 1988, at Schumpert Medical Center after a sudden illness. She was born in Lake Charles, La. Mrs. Goodwin was a member of Broadmoor Baptist Church and the O.E.S., Broadmoor Chapter No. 233.
She is survived by her husband, H. Grady Goodwin of Shreveport; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert B. and Betty Rivet of Shreveport; a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn Rivet Joyner and John Joyner of Mace Meadows, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Evelyn Buce Folse of Bastrop, La.; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Douglas Rivet, Henry Adrian, Ira Flippen, Jim Akins, Dale Wroten, Gordon Peteet, J.E. Huddleston and Gary Joyner.
