IN MEMORIAM
When God called her she was willing, but her loving heart was not satisfied. She said, ``Flowers fade, Ask my friends to send, instead of flowers, something to start a find at Grand Canyon College that will enable some girl to go to school who would not otherwise have an opportunity to go to a Christian college.''
How she loved Arizona and you! About prayer meeting time Wednesday night, Aug. 26, she said goodbye; and heaven must be a more wonderful place now. Of course, she couldn't understand the cancer. She asked God for more time last winter and she used every minute He granted her as she worked with her adult department at Bethany Baptist Church. She led several of her neighbors and members of her family to know Christ as Saviour. Her greatest disappointment was at not being able to serve her Master longer or more diligently.
Helen wanted so much to thank you personally for your love, prayers, kind words, and offers to help make her more comfortable. She appreciated all of you even though there was not room enough around her bed for all who loved her.
