Helen ``Dutch'' Splane
A memorial service for Helen ``Dutch'' Splane, 87, a Carson City resident for the past 42 years, will be at 10 a.m. May 3.
Mrs. Splane died April 13, 2001, at St. Mary's Hospital. She was born Oct. 13, 1913, in Venice, Calif., to Antone and Mary Predo Duarte.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Reno.
Mrs. Splane was an accountant. She was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
Among her survivors are her nieces Ruth Ferry of Castro Valley, Calif., Pam Fox of Idaho and Sherri Orr of Hawaii.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
