Helen Flurry Lee

Funeral services for Helen Flurry Lee, 73, of Ruston, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 31, 2000 in the Kilpatrick Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Arvis Griggs officiating assisted by Dr. David Leavell.

Burial will be in Bernice City Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.

She died January 28, 2000 at Lincoln General Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Lee was a member of First Baptist Church of Ruston. She retired from St. Charles Parish School Board and was instrumental in pioneering children's ministry in Louisiana.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Curtis Lee; three sons, Jim Lee and wife Yvette of Springfield, La.; Dennis Lee and wife Beth of Coco Beach,FL.; and Steve Lee and wife Allison of Ruston; one sister, Dorothy Pearl Reeves and husband Neal of Luling, La.; one brother, Bill Flurry and wife Marilyn of Cummings, Ga.; grandchildren Tina Lee Buckley, Tonya Lee Ashcroft, Keith Lee, Andrew Lee, Ava Lee Rice, Anna Lee and Rachael Lee; great granchildren, Nicholas Buckley, Christopher Buckley and Landon Rice.

Pallbearers will be Keith Lee, Andrew Lee, Michael Ashcroft, Mark Buckley, Ken Smith, and Dana Walker.

Memorials may be made to Children's Evangelism Fellowship.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time on Monday.
