A resident of Denham Springs, she died at 9:30 a.m. Friday, March 19, 2004, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge. She was 78 and a native of Livingston.
Visitation was at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2004. Visitation at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until service in the chapel at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 21, 2004, conducted by the Rev. Fred Ory Miller. Burial in Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery, Denham Springs.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol Smith; daughter-in-law, Tammy Waldrop; son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Denise Waldrop; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Patsy May; grandchildren, Billy Williams, Chad Waldrop, Danielle Smith, Robert Waldrop, Brian Waldrop, Kristi Waldrop, Jordyn Cohn and Baylee Waldrop; and great-grandchildren, Caroline Waldrop and Jacqueline Williams.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Waldrop; father, Robert May; mother, Mary Carraway May; son, Craig Waldrop; sisters, Myrtle Roberts and Willie Blystad; and brothers, Robert May and Powell May.
She was a charter member of Don Avenue Baptist Church and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter in Denham Springs.
