Helen Louise Swaggart
(October 12, 1928 - July 31, 2010)

SICILY ISLAND -- Funeral services for Louise Swaggart, 81, of Sicily Island, who passed away Saturday July 31, 2010 at River Oaks Hospital in Flowood, MS, will be 11 A. M. Tuesday August 3, 2010 at Laird Funeral Union Street Chapel with Rev. James David Peavy officiating. Burial will follow at 2 P. M. in Pine Hills Cemetery, Catahoula Parish.

Visitation will be Tuesday 9 A. M. until service time at Laird Funeral Home.

Mrs. Swaggart was born on October 12, 1928 in Sicily Island. The daughter of Enos and Lela Traver [sic Tarver] Jackson. She was married her childhood sweetheart, Gilbert Swaggart, 66 years ago. She is preceded in death by her parents, one son, Joe Swaggart and one brother, Thomas ( Sonny) Jackson.

Survivors include her husband, Gilbert Swaggart; four sons, Ronald Swaggart and wife, Lynn of Pearl, MS, Thomas (Hoppy) Swaggart and wife, Cheryl, Glenn Swaggart and wife, Clarissa all of Natchez and Patrick (Ricky ) Swaggart and wife, Stella of Santa Rosa, New Mexico; one daughter-in-law, Connie Swaggart of Natchez; six grandsons; seven granddaughters and 16 great-grandchildren; one brother, Windall Jackson and wife, Judy of New Iberia, LA; one sister-in-law, Patsy Jackson of Sicily Island; a childhood and lifelong friend Becky Lee of Natchez, a special niece, Rosemary Weems; numerous nieces and nephews that she loved very much.

Pallbearers will be, Jason Swaggart, Glenn Allen Swaggart, John Swaggart, Timmy Swaggart, Ronnie Freeman and Stephen Harrison.
