Helen Louise Rollins Halford, 74, of Roxie, died Sept. 17, 2002, at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Meadville.
Visitation is 5:30 - 9 p.m. Thursday at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville. Visitation continues from noon Friday at Bude Church of God until services there at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Halford was born March 15, 1918 [sic 1928], in Franklinton, La. She was the daughter of Stanton Rollins Sr. and Docia Corban Rollins.
She was a homemaker and a member of Bude Church of God.
Mrs. Halford was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wesley Halford; four brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, James and Doris Halford of Meadville; five daughters and sons-in-law, Louise and Jerry Combs and Polly and Ernie Platt, all of Roxie, Maxine and Jimmy Buie of Meadville, Doris and John Foy Sr. of Belle Chase, La., and Bonnie and Huey McGeever of Louisiana; one brother, Stanton Rollins Jr. of Meadville; two sisters, Eunice Norris of Meadville and Jeffie Mae Norris of Franklinton, La.; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
