Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Shebet Prince, 85, of Monroe, LA will be 2:00PM, Thursday, June 15, 2006 in the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe, LA, on Lamy Lane. Officiating will be Dr. John ``Bud'' Traylor. Interment will follow at Monroe Memorial Park on Highway 80 under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Prince was born on September 1, 1920 and passed away on June 12, 2006.

Mrs. Prince was preceded in death by her husband: Dr. B. Earl Prince and her parents: Dominesha and Constantine Shebet; brother: Walter Shebet and her beloved puppy, Nicky.

She is survived by her daughters: Polly Prince Coleman and husband Jackie of Monroe, LA, Connie Prince Street of Monroe, LA; sister: Nina Johnston of Denton, TX; nephew: Richard Johnston; grandchildren: Scott Coleman, Michelle Coleman, Hunter Street and Madison Street all of Monroe, LA, and her feline companion, Angel.

Mrs. Prince was a member of the First Baptist Church of Monroe on St. John Street and was a Sunday school teacher. She was the daughter of Russian immigrants.

Mrs. Prince graduated from Charity Hospital in Shreveport, LA, as a Registered Nurse and retired after many years of service at Glenwood Hospital. She was also a member of the Republican Woman. She enjoyed her times with the ULM Faculty Wives.

Her family will remember her as an unselfish and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Pallbearers will be deacons of the First Baptist Church of Monroe, LA.

Visitation will be 5:00PM until 8:00PM, Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe, LA.
