Helen Corban
“Absent from the body, present with the Lord.”
Native of Eddiceton, MS and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on November 3, 2012 at The Carpenter House at the age of 89.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 5, 2012 at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., from 11 a.m. until funeral service at 1 p.m. conducted by Pastor Ron Tyndall and Pastor Rusty Reed. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
She is survived by her two daughters, Rebecca Morgan and husband Ronald, and Charlotte Cohoon; grandchildren, Robin Morgan Northington, Mark Todd Morgan and wife Jennifer, Casey Cohoon and Cody Cohoon; great-grandchildren, Connor Matthew Morgan, and Isabel Chapman Northington.
Helen is preceded in death by her husband of 39 years James Leslie Corban; parents, Andrew and Lottie Lee Walker; brother Mickey Walker and friends.
She was a devoted member of Parkview Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Carpenter House.
