Henry Allbritton
Funeral services for Henry F. Allbritton 88, a carpenter from Wisner, LA will be held 2 pm Saturday September 15, 2012 at Wisner Assembly of God Church with Rev. Theresa Johnson and Rev. Roland Kratzer officiating. Interment will follow in Natchez City Cemetery in Natchez, MS under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 -- 9 pm Friday September 14, 2012 at the church.
Mr. Allbritton was born August 11, 1924 in Wisner, LA to his parents Archie and Celia Allbritton and passed from this life on September 13, 2012 at his residence in the company of his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Archie Allbritton, Frank Allbritton; sisters Betty Gene Parker, Louise Sapp and Annie Bell McDaniel. He was a life-long member of Wisner Assembly of God Church and tried to share with everyone he met the glory and the power of the Lord God. Mr. Allbritton served his country in the United States Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife Ellie Esker Allbritton; children Johnny Wayne Allbritton and wife Donna Ore City, TX; David Allbritton of Ore City, TX; Gerald Allbritton and wife Connie of Chase, LA; Lisa Sherman and husband Rod of Ore City, TX; Kathy McMurray of Gilbert, LA; grandchildren Bubba, Nikki and Tonya Allbritton, Tracey Allbritton Barton; Natasha Allbritton Guimbellot; Loren and Caleb Allbritton; Dana Ready Broussard, Daniel Ready, Brock and Quentin Sherman and Donielle McMurray Wallace and a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; brother Jessie Allbritton; sisters Mary Herring and Irene Lee.
Pallbearers will be Bubba Allbritton, Caleb Allbritton, Cody Allbritton, Dakota Allbritton, Chris Parker and Daniel Ready.
Honorary pallbearers will be Frankie Allbritton, Bill Carroll, David Oliver, Jackie Parker and Harold Stephens.
