Last Rites For H. A. Lane, Winn Native, In Monroe
Henry Alvin Lane, 58, of 1518 Eby Street, West Monroe, died unexpectedly at his home Sunday, October 20.
Final funeral services were conducted in the Trinity Baptist Church, West Monroe, October 22. Burial was in a Monroe cemetery.
Mr. Lane was an operating engineer with the International Paper Company. He was a native of Winn Parish and had resided in Ouachita Parish for more than 40 years. He was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church, West Monroe, and the West Monroe Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Annie Lea Lane, West Monroe, three brothers, Lewis Lane, Winnfield, Voyd Lane, Beaumont, Texas, Fynous L. Lane, Whittier, Alaska; four sisters, Mrs. T. H. Pittman, Shreveport, Mrs. Nolan Kingrey, Lake Charles, Mrs. F. A. Madenwald, Jr., Beaumont, Texas, and Mrs. Hilton Bolton, Winnfield.
