Henry C. Pratt Funeral Pending

PINELAND -- Funeral services will be announced by Starr Funeral Home of Hemphill for Henry C. Pratt, 83, of Pineland, father of three area residents.

Mr. Pratt, a retired carpenter, died Friday at 11:30 p.m. in Mid-Jefferson county hospital after an illness of one week.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Roberta Pratt of Hemphill; four sons, Woodrow Pratt of Port Neches and George Pratt of Nederland, Hayes Pratt of Houston and Marvin Pratt of Omaha, Neb.; four daughters, Mrs. Drew Stewart of Hemphill, Mrs. John E. Grant of Bedford, Mass., Mrs. R. H. Freidrick of Houston, and Mrs. Leonard Lasalle of Bridge City; two brothers, Horace and Louis Pratt, both of Hemphill; three sisters, Mrs. Novie Coussons, Mrs. Bessie Smith and Mrs. Lydia Harper, all of Hemphill.

Weldon Davis Funeral home was in charge of local arrangements.
