HENRY IRVING KIRKSEY

The death of Henry Irvin Kirksey occurred on Saturday night about 11 o'clock about four miles from Brownwood at the home of Mrs. Kirksey's parents. Funeral services were conducted on Sunday evening at 5 o'clock with interment in Jenkins Springs cemetery.

Mr. Kirksey had been ill for about 150 days with typhoid fever and was convalescing when he had a relapse on Saturday night which caused his death. Mr. Kirksey was born on December 26, 1899, in Brownwood. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Kirksey. He was a splendid young man who was starting life with very bright prospects and was admired by everyone. He was married about one year ago and since his marriage had been engaged in farming.

Besides his wife he leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Kirksey, four sisters, Misses Jeanie and May Kirksey, and Mrs. M. J. Flowers of Brownwood and Mrs. Monroe Curry of Killeen and seven brothers, J. W. Lewis, Lester, Roy, Raymond, Jeffrey and Joel all of whom were here to the funeral, except Mrs. Curry.
