Henry L. Crum

FERRIDAY (Special) -- Funeral services were set for 4 p.m. today for Henry L. Crum, 62, who died Sunday after a short illness.

Rites were to be at the First Church of God in Ferriday with the Rev. Floyd Whitesell, pastor, officiating, assisted by Russell Crum and David Kirk, ministers of the Church of Christ of Monterey.

Graveside rites were to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Natchez, Miss., with Dr. Robert L. Hughes officiating, under direction of Comer Funeral Home.

Mr. Crum had been a resident of Ferriday for 12 years and had been employed by the town of Ferriday water department.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mildred Crum, Ferriday; eight sons, Henry L. Crum, Natchez, Miss., M-Sgt. Charles N. Crum, Klameth [sic Klamath] Falls, Orel [sic Ore.]; Pvt. James Crum, Ft. Polk; Vernon, Kenneth, Tommy, Jerry and Danny Crum, all of Ferriday; six daughters, Mrs. Lorainne Dean, Garden City, Calif.; Mrs. Betty Fletcher, Lake St. John; Mrs. Ann Fair, Jean, Barbara and Ruth Crum, all of Ferriday; two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Tullos, Pineville; Mrs. Decie Mae Sturgis, Natchez, Miss.; and 11 grandchildren.
