Henry McDaniel Dies In Laurel

Henry McDaniel, former resident of Newton where he lived for many years and who had been making his home with his daughter, Mrs. Minnie Musgrove, of this city died Tuesday morning at 6 o'clock after a lingering illness. Funeral services will be conducted from the Fellowship church Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Hudson, pastor of the Baptist church there officiating. Interment will be made at the Fellowship cemetery.

The deceased, who was aged 79 years, was extensively known in this section of the state where he spent the greater portion of his life. There are eleven surviving children as follows: W. E. McDaniel, Smith county; Johnny McDaniel, Covington county; Mrs. Betty Carter, Mrs. Minnie Musgrove, Mrs. Rebecca Ellzey, Jessie McDaniel and Mrs. Lola Smith, all of Laurel; Mrs. Sarah Davis, George McDaniel, Tylertown; Douglas McDaniel, Transylvania, La., and Emmett McDaniel, Greenville, Miss.

Funeral services will be held from the Fellowship Church at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Mr. Hudson, pastor of the Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Fellowship churchyard cemetery.
