RASTUS SLAUGHTER

MANY -- Rastus Slaughter, 37, of Robeline, died in a Shreveport hospital Tuesday following a highway accident near Natchitoches this week.

Funeral services will be in the Cedron Baptist Church near Vowells Mill at 3 p.m. today with the Rev. E. E. Dees officiating. Burial will be in Cedron Cemetery.

Survivors are his widow; a son, William Slaughter of Robeline; a daughter, Janet Slaughter of Robeline; his mother, Mrs. G. R. Slaughter of Robeline; three brothers, Leroy Slaughter of Minneapolis, Minn., Curtis Slaughter of Robeline and G. R. Slaughter Jr. of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two sisters, Mrs. C. L. Knippers of Provensal [sic Provencal] and Mrs. V. S. Flenniken of Hobbs, N.M.
