BURNUM

Henry Martin Burnum of 2412 Wrench Coral Drive, Springfield, passed away April 20, 1984 at the age of 78.

He was born June 8, 1905 in Winfield, Louisiana and was married March 5, 1921 in Italy, Texas to Jeanne Lou Perkins. Martin Burnum had a very kind and loving soul. He was a good man in the community and a wonderful father and grandfather. He made many friends and was always ready to help those in need. He was a hard worker, prominent as a farmer in the community, and ran a machine shop for over 10 years.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanne L. Burnum, three sons, Eugene Martin Burnum of Coos Bay, Oregon, Charles Fredrick Burnum of Springfield, Oregon and Henry Welton Burnum of Kent, Washington, one sister, Emma Waller of Arlington, Texas, 11 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday April 23, 1984, at 2 P.M. in CHAPEL OF MEMORIES FUNERAL HOME 3?45 West 11th Avenue, Eugene, with Pastors Rudolph Johnson of Cottage Grove and Glen Patterson of Salem, Oregon, Seventh Day Adventist Church, officiating. Interment is in Rest Haven Moseleum.

Visitation is Sunday, April 22, from 1 to 5 P.M. and Monday, April 23, from 9 A.M. til noon.
