H. Paul Crum, 83, of Houma, La., died Feb. 2, 2001.
Visitation is 5-9 p.m. Monday. Services are 8 a.m. Tuesday, followed by graveside services at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Falgout Funeral Home of Houma. The Rev. David Herbertson will officiate. Burial will be in St. Francis De Sales II Cemetery.
Mr. Crum was born Sept. 9, 1917, in Coles. He was the son of Henry Ivy and Nellie Adeline Raner Crum.
He was a World War II veteran, a retired educator and school administrator and a member of First United Methodist Church of Houma. He was a member of F.&A.M. Lodge No. 399 of Gloster and the Wahabi Shrine Temple of Jackson. He had lived in Houma since 1965.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers Byran C. Crum of Tallulah, La., William B. Crum of Port Gibson, and Jesse S. Crum of Monroe, La.
Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline Hebert Crum of Houma; two daughters and sons-in-law, Paulette and John DuBose of Jacksonville, Fla., and Julia and Michael Benoit of Houma; two step-daughters, Paula DeRoche and Bonnie Theriot, both of Houma; a sister, Bonnie C. Coleman of Magnolia; eight grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild and 19 great-grandchildren.
