HENRY W. A. PRICHARD

Harrisonburg, La., May 12 (Special) Funeral services for Walter [sic Henry] Wadsworth Allen Prichard, of New Iberia, La., who died as the result of an automobile accident Monday, were held in Harrisonburg at 10 p.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. T. W. Woodworth of Sicily Island officiating. He was assisted by the Rev. B. A. Miley of Harrisonburg. Interment was in the Harrisonburg cemetery.

Mr. Prichard is survived by his mother, Mrs. Edna Robertson Prichard; and three sisters, Mrs. Jake Leake of Marshall, Texas; Mrs. Lewis Preiss of Waterproof, La., and Mrs. Jack Crigle of St. Joseph, La.

Funeral Held at Harrisonburg for Accident Victim

HARRISONBURG, La., May 12, -- (Special) -- The funeral of Henry Wadsworth Allen Prichard, 33, of New Iberia, was conducted in Harrisonburg, his childhood home, Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Methodist church with Rev. T. W. Woodworth of Sicily Island officiating. He was assisted by Rev. B. A. Miley of Harrisonburg.

Mr. Prichard was fatally hurt in an automobile accident near New Iberia Monday. He was a U.S. engineer in that district and was in a U.S. truck at the time of the wreck.

Following the accident, Mr. Prichard was rushed to the New Iberia hospital, where he died Tuesday. The deceased is the son of Mrs. Edna Robertson Prichard and the late Dr. Wadsworth Allen Prichard, a prominent family in this section.

He also leaves his widow, the former Miss Haas, whom he married about two years ago; three sisters, Mrs. Jake Leas of Marshall, Texas; Mrs. Lewis Preis of Waterproof; Mrs. Jack Crigle of St. Joseph.

Interment was made in the Harrisonburg cemetery.
