March 17, 1955 - January 1, 2015

Services for Henry Wayne Townsend will be at 1PM, Monday, January 5, 2015 at Myers Bend Pentecostal Church, Harrisonburg, LA with Bro. Mark Johnson officiating. Visitation will be from 10AM, Monday, January 5th until time of service at the church. Interment will be at Siloam Cemetery, Aimwell under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria.

Wayne, 59, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015 at his home. He was a great man that will be missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lou Hobbs Townsend; brother, Rodney Townsend; and sister, Darlene Townsend Wiley.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Sherry Townsend of Harrisonburg; father, Floyd Townsend, Sr. of Harrisonburg; sister, Rosa Meng (James Meng, Jr) of Flowood, MS; brothers, J.L. Townsend of Harrisonburg, Floyd Jr. Townsend (Pam) of Harrisonburg and Robert Townsend of Harrisonburg; children, Clyde, Angie, LouAnn, Roger, Brandy, Angela and Christopher; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Cliff Butler, Scotty Boothe, Rusty Boothe, Curtis Butler, Jr., Chester Coleman and Eric Butler. Honorary pallbearers will be Derrick Jennings, Luke Book, Hippy Book and Brandy Book.
