Mr. Henry Wesley Jordan, Sr., age 70 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2012.
Born Monday, March 16, 1942 in Robeline, Louisiana, he was preceded in death by his Father, Orie Jordan; Mother, Vivian M Jordan; Brother, Orie William Jordan; and Son, Henry Dwayne Jordan.
Those left to cherish his memory include his Wife, Nellie Jordan; Son, Mike Jordan and wife Cathy of Choudrant, LA; Son, Ricky Jordan and wife Sheila of Sikes, LA; Son, Terry Jordan and wife Deidra of Sikes, LA; Son, Henry Wesley Jordan, Jr. of Winnfield, LA; Daughter, Vivian Jordan McDaniel and husband Jason of Winnfield, LA; Daughter, Felicia Wilson; Sister, Lena Crooks and husband Greg of Winnfield, LA; Brother, Ernest Jordan and wife Sherry of Jasper, TX; 15 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren; and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 04, 2012, at Hurricane Grove Baptist Church, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM , and again on Friday, October 05, 2012, from 9:00 AM until time of services.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 05, 2012 at Hurricane Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Wise officiating. Interment will follow in Hurricane Grove, in Sikes.
Serving the family as pallbearers will be Brandon Jordan, Ronnie McCain, Stacy Harper, Shane Moorehead, Paul McCain, Ryan Jordan, Glenn Waters (Hon.), and Floyd Fredericks (Hon.).
