Henry Wilson Hardy, Sr.

Henry Wilson Hardy, Sr., 90, left this world and went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, August 8, 2016 at Alden Pointe Assisted Living in Hattiesburg. A memorial service will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 11:00 AM.

Mr. Hardy was born on December 21, 1925 to the late John and Lula Weaver Hardy. He served his country in the United States Army in WWII where he drove a tank for General Patton in the European Theater. Mr. Hardy was a proud Mason. He loved to hunt, fish, and work in his yard and garden. He was a devout Christian and until recently, active in his church Pinehaven Presbyterian Church in Clinton, formerly Mount Salus Presbyterian Church.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Ada Harrell Hardy, parents, and siblings.

Mr. Hardy is survived by his son, Hank Hardy of Clinton; daughter, Mary Hardy Kelly (Paul) of Hattiesburg; grandchildren, Ryan Kelly (Jennifer), Beth Hardy Walker (Austin), and Steven Kelly (Ann Claire); and 5 great grandchildren.
