Herbert E. Hobbs
TERRY -- Herbert E. Hobbs, 71, a retired construction supervisor with EBASCO Services Inc., died of heart failure Wednesday at his home.
Services are 2 p.m. today at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home with burial in Lakewood Cemetery.
A Mayfield, Ky. native, Mr. Hobbs had lived in Terry for eight years, coming from Rogers, Ark.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and a member of St. Johns Catholic Church in Crystal Springs.
Survivors include: wife, Mildred; son, Charles H. Hobbs of Penticton, British Columbia; daughter, Margaret Hobbs Barron of Crofton, Md.; brothers, George E. Hobbs of Jackson and Edward V. Hobbs of Freemont, Calif.; sisters, Marie Braley of Minneapolis, Audrey Sexenian of Atlanta and Frances Schmidt of Madison; and four grandchildren.
