TERRY -- Herman Fonzie Savell, 77, a retired farmer and former employee of Swift Packing Co. for 18 years, died of complications of a stroke Thursday at his home.

Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home with burial in Terry Cemetery. Visitation is 4-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Savell was a Neshoba County native and had lived in Terry most of his life. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Terry.

Survivors include: wife, Jessie; son, Donald Savell of Terry; daughter, Joanne Butler of Ocean Springs; brother, Cecil Savell of Poplarville; sister, Lurlene Whitehead of Terry; and five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
