HERMAN B. MCINTOSH

Herman Bernell McIntosh, 73, of Waynesboro, died Tuesday, Nov. 5 at his residence.

The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Jones Funeral Home in Ellisville, with burial in the Union Line Cemetery in Soso. The Rev. Rickey Williams will officiate.

He was a native of Jasper County and had lived in Jones County for most of his wife. He retired from Wayne Poultry in 1978.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Odessa Thornton McIntosh.

He is survived by three sons, Harold H. McIntosh of Waynesboro, and Larry D. McIntosh and Jimmy D. McIntosh, both of Covington, Louisiana; one daughter, Betty A. Holifield of Soso; two brothers, Daniel McIntosh of Ellisville, and Talmadge McIntosh of Laurel; one sister, Joyce Kennedy of McKinney, Texas; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Truitt McCarty, Henry Kennedy, Wayne Young, Ernest Holifield, Wayne Edd, and Dee McIntosh.

Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. today at Jones Funeral Home in Ellisville, which is in charge of the arrangements.
