TAYLOR, HERMAN M.

Died at 6:05 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, at Baton Rouge General Hospital. A resident of 3254 Byron St., he was 74. He was a native of Mississippi.

The body will be at Hollabaugh-Spindle Funeral Home until 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Services at North Highland Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Fulton McGraw and Rev. Ben Purvis. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers: Herman R., Charles B. and Robert W. Taylor, I. J. and Raymond Barnett and Glen P. Blanchard.

He was a retired post office clerk and a veteran of World War I.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Herman (Vernice) Taylor, Baton Rouge; three sons, H. Roy Taylor and Robert W. Taylor, both of Baton Rouge, and Charles B. Taylor, Lincoln, Neb.; a daughter, Mrs. Glenn (Nell) Blanchard, Baton Rouge; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Mackey and Mrs. Odis Kirkland, both of Centreville, Miss., and 10 grandchildren.

He was a member of North Highland Baptist Church.
