H. A. WHITTINGTON

GLOSTER -- Services for Hershel A. Whittington, 53, were held in Brown Funeral Home Chapel, and burial was in Liberty cemetery.

A native of Amite county, Mr. Whittington, oil rig owner and operator, died in Immokelie [sic Immokalee], Fla., following an apparent heart attack.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Della Mae Rucker Whittington; a daughter and son, all of Florida; a brother, Hylon K. Whittington, circuit clerk of Amite county; three sisters, Mrs. Versie Roney, Laurel, Miss Hoyt Whittington, Ellisville, and Mrs. Trudie Felder, Liberty.
