COLLIER, HEWITT CULLEN

Died at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday at his home, 123 N. 6th St. A native of Texas and the son of the late Benjamin and Julia Collier. Was a retired hotel manager and managed hotels in Oklahoma, Texas and Louisiana. Formerly managed the Bentley Hotel in Alexandria and the Istrouma Hotel here. The body has been donated to the Tulane University anatomy department at Collier's request.

Survivors include his widow, the former Alice Peters; a daughter, Lorrain Barrios; two grandchildren, Carol E. and Reyna Barrios of Brigham City, Utah; two sisters, Mrs. Ione Green of Fort Worth, Tex., and Mrs. Gertrude Cameron of Orange, Tex., and numerous nieces and nephews.
