FOREMAN, HILDON

A carpenter and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died Thursday, Nov. 9, 2000, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge. He was 80 and a native of Gloster, Miss. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a recipient of the Bronze Star, Purple Heart and Good Conduct Medal. Visiting was at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. Visiting at the funeral home from noon until religious services at 2 p.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. James Dawson. Interment in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker.

Survived by a son, Leanord Foreman; a brother, Harold Foreman; four grandchildren, Jennifer and Will Rushing and Melissa and Warren Brady; and six great-grandchildren, Colby, Addison and Garrett Rushing and Delaney, Aldin and Wesley Brady.

Preceded in death by his wife, Nell Boles Foreman; parents, Willard and Cbell Foreman; and a brother, James Elmo Foreman.

Pallbearers will be Charlie Massy, James Case, James Sims, Trey Larsen, Chuckie Larsenand Johnny Rayburn.

He was a member of Carpenter's Union Local 1098.
