Hobie had one son, W. Cliff Prize of Post Falls, Idaho and his daughter-in-law Audie and grandsons, Dane and Bronson Prize. Cliff is the image of his dad and has mirrored him in life and in love.

In 1979 Hobie and Joanie VanInwagen-Price started a beautiful journey of life and love for 33 years. The greatest love and legacy of his life is his beautiful daughter, Audrey Rose Price, a senior at Madill High. Audrey came to Hobie in the time of his life where he could enjoy, raise and love her so very much and beam with pride.

Hobie worked for many years at the Army Depot in Sacramento. He owned and operated his Shell Station for three years before working as a mechanic at Texaco and Shell. In 1984 he had his own shop “Hobie's Auto Repair” in Folsom, CA, before retiring in 1993 to take on his greatest job of being “Mr. Mom” for Audrey Rose. Hobie was preceded in death by his dad Jack Price, two brothers Richard and Bobby Price and one sister Genilee Yandell.

Hobie lived life to its fullest and filled it with a memory of stories, love, and being the person who was always grounded, steady and ready to help those around him. He will be deeply missed by his loved ones and friends and though he may not have realized his wealth in life, he leaves behind a void in all our hearts.
