Hobson Myers Dies After Brief Illness

Funeral services for Hobson S. Myers, 77, of Grayson, were held at 3 p.m. Monday at Hebron Baptist Church near Sikes with the Revs. Larry Adkins and James Simons officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mr. Myers died Sunday, April 17, 1977 at the Haven Nursing Home in Columbia after a brief illness.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Minnie C. Myers of Grayson; one son, Charles C. Myers of Pineville; three daughters, Mrs. Betty Mayes of Monroe, Mrs. Gail Stennett of West Monroe, and Mrs. LaFaye May of Logansport; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Gregory of Grayson and Mrs. Lela Robinson of Nederland, Texas; one brother, Homer Myers of Pineville, and nine grandchildren.
