RITES ARE HELD FOR MR. SULLIVAN; RETIRED FARMER
Services were held last Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Avent Funeral Home for Hollis E. Sullivan, retired farmer, who died at his home here Tuesday afternoon.
The Rev. D. O. Horne, Baptist Minister, officiated. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Sullivan, who was 66, had been in failing health for some time. He was a member of the Sumner Baptist Church and a life long resident of Tallahatchie County, and a member of the Woodman of the World.
Mr. Sullivan is survived by six daughters, Mrs. E. H. Bowers, of Sumner, Mrs. Peter Barchett of New Jersey, Mrs. Lucille Beck and Miss Patricia Ann Sullivan of Clarksdale, Mrs. F. L. Favors of Decatur, Ala., and Miss Abbey Jean Sullivan of Denver, Colo.; two sons, William K. Sullivan of New Jersey, Murry C. Sullivan of the U.S. Navy; a sister, Mrs. Maud White of Tutwiler; and two brothers, William Sullivan of Tutwiler and M. D. Sullivan of Denver, Colorado.
