WEST BLOCTON -- Hollis McKinney Lowery, 83, of West Blocton, died Jan. 7, 1994, at Bessemer Carraway Medical Center.
Funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Schultz Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Stan Hughley officiating. Burial will be in the Schultz Creek Cemetery with Rockco Funeral Home of Centreville directing.
He was born July 21, 1910, in Alabama and was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Coda Lowery of West Blocton; one daughter, Marie Webb of West Blocton; three sons, Roy M. Lowery of West Blocton, John W. Lowery of Fairfield, and Norman W. Lowery of Pell City; one sister, Fannie Mae Mitchell of Gulfport, Miss.; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
