H. M. McCarty

Funeral services were held for Holloway M. McCarty, 58, a resident of Franklin parish since 1910 when he moved here from Sikes, Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the French Turn Baptist church. Interment was in the Masonic cemetery at Crowville.

Surviving Mr. McCarty, who passed away Monday, are: his wife, Mrs. H. M. McCarty; four daughters, Mrs. Wendall, Mrs. Essie Wroten, Mrs. Claude Gates, Mrs. J. L. Eldridge; three grandchildren, all of Winnsboro; three brothers, S. A. McCarty of Winnfield, B. S. McCarty of Newellton and C. C. McCarty of Winnsboro; and one sister, Mrs. Gaines Buchans.

Mulhearn Funeral home directed the funeral arrangements.
