Mr. Homer Cotney Dies Of Spinal Menigitis At Hazard, Ky.

News of the death of Mr. Homer Cotney, received here Friday, was the source of much regret to his many Taylor county friends.

Mr. Cotney is said to have succumbed to spinal menigitis following an illness of several days, place of death Hazard, Ky., where for several years he had been engaged as a mechanic. Funeral services and interment took place at Hazard, Ky., on Saturday, last.

Mr. Cotney was about 34 years of age, a native of this county and the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Cotney, well known Taylor county residents.

Surviving him besides his parents are his wife, Mrs. Gladys Mills Cotney, three sisters and two brothers.
