WHITTINGTON, HOMER F.

Died 1 a.m. Friday, Dec, 11, 1992, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 68, a native and resident of Baton Rouge. He was a retired television repairman and a U.S. Army veteran. He served as a paratrooper and glider pilot during World War II in the 82nd Air Borne.

Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 9 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. Saturday, conducted by Doug Brown. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park.

Survived by a daughter, Patty Whittington, Baton Rouge; a sister, Mrs. Sidney J. (Ramona) Williamson, Baton Rouge; and three brothers, Emil W. Whittington, Lee B. Whittington and Doyle Whittington, all of Baton Rouge.

Preceded in death by parents, Lee W. and Meda Wood Whittington.

He was a member of the V.F.W. and Moose Lodge and former Texas Golden Glove Boxing Champion.
