BUNKIE -- Services for Homer W. Emmons will be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Hixson Bros. with the Rev. Wayne Dunn officiating. Burial will be in Griffin Hill Cemetery, Lone Pine.
Emmons, 76, of Bunkie died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 1999, in a family residence.
He was a retired pipe fitter and welder with the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 272 and a veteran of U.S. Army 2nd Armored Division.
Survivors include two brothers, Daniel B. Emmons of West Monroe and Wallace L. Emmons of Breaux Bridge and one sister, Belle E. Carpenter of Lone Pine.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of services today in the funeral home.
