Horace J. Krohn Dies In California

Horace J. Krohn, 65, a native of Wiggins and a resident of Santa Barbara, Calif., for 20 years, died in Santa Barbara on May 29.

Mr. Krohn, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Krohn of Wiggins, was born April 21, 1899.

He was [a] retired federal employee and a veteran of World War II, serving in the South Pacific with the Naval Construction Battalion.

Mr. Krohn is survived by his wife; four children, seven grandchildren, one great grandchild; one brother, H. R. Krohn, Vancleave; four sisters, Mrs. Pete Willemoes and Mrs. W. E. Martin, Wiggins; Miss Letha Krohn, Tallahassee, Fla., and Mrs. Allie Jones, Minneapolis, Minn.

The funeral was held Monday at the Haider Mortuary in Santa Barbara with interment there.
