HOWARD JAMES, SR.
Funeral services for Howard James Sr., 70, Mobile, Ala., who died in Mobile Sunday were held Tuesday, 1 p.m. from Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. Homer Yarbrough officiating. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary James, Mobile, Ala.; four daughters, Mrs. Eva Glover, Wilmer, Ala.; Mrs. Etta Willis, Calhoun, Ky.; Mrs. Lucille Broome, and Mrs. Edna Clifton, both of Mobile, Ala.; one son, Howard James Jr., Mobile, Ala.; and four grandchildren.
Other survivors are six brothers, Harvey James, Houston James, both of Louin; Oliver James, Russell James, Monroe James and T. Q. James, all of Hammond, La.; three sisters, Mrs. O. C. Porter, Guthrie, Okla., Mrs. Ernest Rayner, Louin and Mrs. Lawrence Windsted of Hammond, La.
Memory Chapel, Bay Springs, was in charge of arrangements.
